I have been homesick for this little town that we called home for two years. Although, as I sit here with dry feet I am quietly a little bit happy that I am not there this week.
Thinking of all of our friends as they go through this and wait to see how much more rain comes there way and what other demage the sky's can do.

The city has dried out and flash flooding receded this morning, trees are down everywhere. We are all sleepless and back on flood watch on the river again -Just waiting is too much for the nerves!

It just awful!
I've heard a few farmers saying lately that they'd take drought over flood any day. I hope your old town dries up and sees some sunshine soon.
It was strange to be there when the rain fell inside the levy banks :(
