Felting Fun...

A quick Christmas gift that I whipped up a few days before Christmas for my Grandmothers.  Seriously, the longest part of these was waiting for the washing machine to do its thing and felt them.

I used two balls of Noro Kureyon and Lucy of Attic24's Hexagon Crochet pattern.  Insperation came from Kelly of Tangled Yarns ready for Christmas.

Two rounds in the washing machine (front loader) with a few tennis balls and an old towel - next time I will find an old pair of shoes to add in there as well as the front loaders are a little too kind for this sort of treatment.

Oh lovely!

Yes, a front loader isn't great for felting. There are times that I wish I kept my top loader for rinsing out dyed stuff and doing stuff like felting. Unfortunately I had no where to keep it.
